General anesthesia allows children to sleep peacefully through dental treatment, ensuring a stress-free and pain-free experience. At Pebble Pediatric Dentistry, we partner with experienced pediatric anesthesia providers to make the process safe, comfortable, and tailored to your child’s needs. This option is ideal for young children, those with high anxiety, or patients requiring extensive treatment — helping us complete care in a single, smooth visit.

What is general anesthesia for children?

At Pebble Pediatric Dentistry, we understand that some dental procedures can feel overwhelming or even frightening for young children—especially when extensive treatment is needed or when anxiety is high. That’s why we offer general anesthesia as a safe, effective, and compassionate option for completing your child’s dental care in a single visit.

General anesthesia allows your child to be fully asleep and unaware during their treatment. It ensures that they experience no pain, fear, or memory of the procedure, which helps protect them from developing dental trauma or anxiety in the future.

With general anesthesia, your child will sleep peacefully and wake up with their dental treatment complete—without stress, fear, or trauma. We’re proud to offer this service on site, so you can have peace of mind knowing that your child’s safety and comfort are our top priorities from start to finish.

  • Fast – Most cases are completed in under an hour
  • Thorough – All necessary dental work can often be finished in one visit
  • Safe – Care is provided by your child’s pediatric dentist alongside a board-certified anesthesiologist, who monitors your child closely throughout the entire process
